Aaron Logan loves to repair/build anything and everything, from ramps, to roofs, to relationships with others. His influences have been two-fold – his earthly father and grandfather from whom he’s learned every construction skill he knows, and his Heavenly Father who has instilled in Aaron a compassion for 1) his neighbors in East Tennessee and 2) middle and high school students. As a volunteer with “Out On a Limb” Youth Ministries, Aaron has helped organize numerous mission trips to Virginia, Mississippi, and Louisiana. His dream, however, is to combine his love for youth with his desire to serve others right here in East Tennessee. Aaron can’t wait to hand down the skills he’s picked up to the students he’ll encounter through YSOA. Aaron lives in Maryville, TN with his wife, Katie, where they enjoy experiencing God in His creation together and hanging out with the students of Sycamore Tree UMC.

Gary began working with youth as an Assistant Scout Master for a Boy Scout Troop in 1981, where a young suburban student from a broken home inspired him to encourage and challenge youth through outdoor adventures. In 1985, Gary joined the Civil Air Patrol and took on the duty of Deputy Commander of Cadets for a local squadron. Through his work in the Civil Air Patrol, Gary taught students how to serve the community by performing Search & Rescue missions. He also taught courses in wilderness survival, orienteering, first aid, aviation, moral leadership, and many others. He currently serves as a Volunteer Youth Leader at Sycamore Tree United Methodist Church. Gary has been an avid outdoorsman all his life, and especially enjoys fishing and camping. He lives in Maryville, TN with his wife, Carolyn, and son, Josh.
